No Ordinary View

There is a "short cut" I sometimes take when visiting Dubuque, IA. 

I am not sure if it saves any time but I do know the drive has some of the prettiest views.

Those of you who live in the Midwest may think they are ordinary fields. Well, maybe they are but to this Southern girl they are some of the most extraordinary views.

FRESH CORN

After church, the Boy Scouts sold fresh corn to raise funds for their troop.

It was picked that morning from a field across the street.

Bought it out of the back of a pickup truck.

No it wasn't stolen. They are Boy Scouts for goodness sakes!!

Today's harvest

It's a dogs life.

You just can't make this stuff up

Story told by my Dear Husband:

"I used to work for a man named Mr. Tong. He had three fingers that were actually his toes".

"How did he lose his fingers?" I asked.

"I'm not sure. I think it may have been in Vietnam".
